Armand Dilanchian, R.Ph., President and CEO, is a clinically-trained pharmacist with over twenty-five years of experience in managed care and pharmacy benefit management. He founded IHC after leaving Physician’s Inc., where he served as Vice President of Pharmacy and Physician Network Management. Prior, Armand served as the Director of Pharmacy and Ancillary Services for FHP of Texas. Armand is a graduate of the University of Utah – College of Pharmacy, and served as clinical adjunct faculty to the college for three years. His experience in pharmacy benefit administration and management is unique, based on proven methods. His philosophy of being innovative, proactive and responsive is the cornerstone of IHC’s business model. Armand’s unusual background enables him to combine industry insight and clinical knowledge with a focus on the customer.
Patrick Stewart, Executive Vice President, has over fifteen years of healthcare management experience. He directed the start-up of two HMOs in Nevada and Texas for FHP Healthcare, and served as President/General Manager of the South Texas/Louisiana Market for Cigna Healthcare which had over 250,000 members and generated over $400 million in revenue. Pat has extensive experience in managing network-based delivery systems, Medicare risk arrangements, and capitation agreements. He holds a Masters degree in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management.
Deborah M. Carey, Director of Client Services, brings over twenty years of healthcare management experience to the IHC team. She directed product development, market research and managed care departments for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Iowa and South Dakota, and helped launch a physician-owned health insurance company in southeast Texas as Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining IHC, she served as Vice President of Business Development for Alternative Paths, Inc. (API), a Houston firm focusing on organizational development consulting and EAP services. Deborah holds a Masters degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with certification in Gerontology from its Institute of Gerontology.
Tracey L. Goldsmith, Pharm.D., Director of Clinical Services, is a Clinical Pharmacist with a background in institutional pharmacy practice, pharmacy management, and academic pharmacy. In over 20 years of practice, she has focused on improving drug use practices and reducing drug-related adverse events in academic and community-based health systems. She held faculty appointments with the University of Kentucky and University of Houston Colleges of Pharmacy, and served in clinical leadership roles with the A. B. Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky and Memorial Hermann Healthcare System and Twelve Oaks Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Tracey holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky, where she also completed post-doctoral residency training at the A. B. Chandler Medical Center. In 2004, she received her Certificate in Clinical Research from the Center for Clinical Research and Evidence-Based Medicine at the University of Texas – Houston Medical School, focusing on evidence-based practice, epidemiology, and biostatistics.
